Job summary

Corus International seeks a Director, Data Systems, MERL to lead the LHA/MERL data architecture in Washington, DC. This hybrid role requires in-office Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

You will oversee data systems management, milestone verification, data quality, and cross-country data workflows across DRC, Ethiopia, Mali, and South Sudan, shaping evidence-based program management. Minimum 8 years MEL experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in public health, epidemiology, statistics, information systems, or a related field and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated expertise with DHIS2, including configuration, data extraction, and use for program reporting.
• Experience with digital data collection and management platforms (e.g., DHIS2 Tracker, KoboToolbox, ODK).
• Experience working on USG-funded programs and familiarity with USG MEL and reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day implementation of the LHA M&E Plan across four project objectives: service delivery, health information systems, supply chains, and outbreak readiness.
• Oversee milestone verification and ensure deliverables and data sources are complete before payment submissions.
• Direct target-setting and monitor progress against the Milestone Plan, identifying risks.
• Oversee baseline data collection leveraging DHIS2 records and routine sources.
• Coordinate with central data teams on platform configuration and data standards.
• Review and approve data system costs and budgets within the Director's purview.
