Job summary

FranklinCovey is hiring a Director of Data Intelligence to architect and lead the company's data strategy and build a modern enterprise data warehouse. You will translate raw data into actionable intelligence that informs Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Product.

This leadership role requires a builder mindset, strong stakeholder influence, and the ability to stand up data infrastructure from the ground up while aligning with executive priorities and long‑term plans.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive experience in data engineering, analytics, or business intelligence.
• 5+ years of experience writing Python code in a production environment.
• Experience with a cloud computing ecosystem (preferably AWS and Snowflake).

Responsibilities

• Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing Data & Analytics team with data engineers, analysts, and BI developers.
• Standardize KPIs and metrics with a company-wide framework.
• Create a reliable, scalable data warehouse and oversee design, build, and vendor management.
• Ensure business continuity for reports and dashboards during migrations.
• Apply AI-assisted analytics and ML to surface predictive insights and automate workflows.
• Make actionable recommendations and explain levers impacting metrics.
• Establish data governance with ownership, contracts, and processes.
• Improve data quality at the source with operations and finance collaboration.
