Job summary

International Game Technology is seeking a Director of Data Governance in Las Vegas to lead the enterprise data governance program, establish policies, and ensure data accuracy and security across the organization.

You will partner with IT, Legal, Compliance and business leaders, shape governance strategy, and drive adoption of best practices to enable data-driven decision making while maintaining regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
• 10+ years in data management/governance, 3+ in a leadership role.
• Proven track record designing governance frameworks, policies, and standards.
• Strong knowledge of data quality, metadata, and MDM.
• Experience with governance platforms (Collibra/Alation/Informatica).
• Familiarity with GDPR and data privacy regulations.
• Experience with Azure/AWS/GCP and modern data ecosystems.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and evolution of enterprise data governance framework and procedures.
• Chair Data Governance Council with cross-functional partners.
• Build and mentor a high-performing data governance team.
• Collaborate with data engineering/IT to optimize catalogs, metadata, and lineage.
• Define, monitor, and report data quality KPIs to executives.
• Ensure compliance with privacy regulations and governance standards.
• Lead Master Data Management initiatives and golden records.
• Develop training programs to improve data literacy across the organization.
• Stay ahead on governance tech trends and regulatory changes.
