Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield seeks a Director of Solutions Data Centers to drive the design and articulation of integrated facilities management for hyperscale, colocation, enterprise, and AI/HPC data centers. This client-facing role converts complex requirements into operating models, staffing plans, and commercial constructs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years in facilities management or engineering services; 5+ years in data center or mission-critical environments.
• 5+ years in FM solutions development with staffing/cost ownership.
• Experience building staffing models and defending them with clients.
• Strong knowledge of electrical distribution, UPS, generators, cooling, BMS/EPMS, and fire life safety.
• Fluency in FM commercial models, SLA/KPI regimes, and pricing; advanced Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; capable of presenting to C-suite.
• Willingness to travel domestically (25–30%).

Responsibilities

• Lead solution architecture for data center IFM pursuits across portfolios.
• Translate client requirements into defensible operating models.
• Build labor models, org charts, scope matrices and governance artifacts.
• Collaborate with Sales, HR, Finance, Legal, and other functions for integrated solutions.
• Author and orchestrate technical responses: staffing plans, transitions, tech stack, risk register.
• Lead workshops, site walks, and client presentations defending engineering approaches.
