Job summary

Blue Signal is seeking a Business Development Director for Data Center Decommissioning, a remote nationwide role focused on uncovering major server retirement opportunities and opening doors within complex enterprise accounts.

You will drive large, multi-stakeholder engagements, coordinating across infrastructure retirement programs and executive stakeholders to translate priorities into compelling, value-driven solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of business development or enterprise sales experience in data center services, server infrastructure, ITAD, hardware lifecycle services, or a closely related field.
• Track record of winning complex enterprise engagements with multi-million-dollar value.
• Working knowledge of server environments and the commercial events that create demand for refresh, decommissioning, recovery, and disposition services.

Responsibilities

• Open new enterprise relationships around infrastructure retirement programs, turning refresh and consolidation activity into high-value commercial engagements.
• Build access to infrastructure, procurement, operations, finance, and executive stakeholders who influence large technology retirement decisions.
• Create a forward-looking opportunity map by uncovering planned hardware refreshes, facility exits, migrations, and server retirement events.
• Own complex pursuits from prospecting and qualification through solution alignment, commercial negotiation, and signed agreement.
• Translate customer priorities around secure removal, logistics, value recovery, resale, recycling, and responsible disposition into compelling solutions.
• Develop referral channels and strategic alliances across the data center and technology lifecycle ecosystem.
• Maintain disciplined pipeline visibility, including deal value, timing, next steps, probability, and forecast expectations.
• Bring market intelligence to leadership and help refine target accounts, partnership strategy, and commercial priorities as the business scales.
