Job summary

Heartflow seeks an IT Director, Data Services and AI Enablement to lead data engineering, integrations, and automation, driving scalable, governed data platforms for AI/ML and analytics. You will guide a small team and partner with executives to align data investments with digital strategy.

The role emphasizes enterprise data governance, self-service analytics, and AI readiness, with a strong focus on reliability, performance, and cost efficiency in a healthcare tech environment.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. A Master’s degree is highly preferred.
• Certifications (Preferred): AWS Data Analytics, AWS Solutions Architect or equivalent governance certifications.
• Experience: 8+ years in data engineering, enterprise data architecture, or systems integration.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise data infrastructure platform design and end-to-end data lifecycle management (ingestion, transformation, modeling, storage, delivery).
• Oversee data pipelines, modeling and reporting ensuring governance, quality, and observability.
• Drive AI readiness with semantic layers and analytics accessibility across self-service tools.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, or a related technical field

Master’s degree in related field or MBA is highly preferred
