Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Director, AI Data Strategy & Enablement to shape enterprise data foundations for AI-enabled experiences across the health enterprise. You will define the vision, standards, and multi-year roadmaps to make data AI-ready and agent-ready.

You will lead cross-functional discovery, establish governance, and scale data capabilities with a strong emphasis on semantic models, metadata, and interoperability, with hybrid work options nationwide.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive experience in data strategy or related fields.
• Proven experience translating business problems into strategic roadmaps.
• Experience defining and executing enterprise-level data or AI strategies.
• Strong understanding of GenAI and agentic AI, data products, APIs, and governance.
• Ability to lead change and influence senior stakeholders without direct authority.
• Excellent executive communication, facilitation, planning, and storytelling.
