Job summary

New York City Department of Transportation (NYC DOT) seeks a Director of Curb Planning and Management to oversee curb space programs, including parking planning, carshare, taxi stands, and waste containerization. You will partner with city programs, lead data-driven policies, and supervise staff responsible for SIP time-lapse data and before/after photography.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in transportation planning or related field or engineering degree with relevant experience.
• Strong experience in transportation planning, parking, and curb management.
• Experience managing staff and public speaking.
• Ability to distill complex data into clear reports and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee curb planning and management programs including parking planning, carshare, taxi stands, and waste containerization.
• Lead time-lapse data collection and before/after photography for SIPs and projects.
• Prepare reports and presentations for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Collaborate with agency partners to develop and deploy curb-related strategies.
