Mercyhealth is seeking an experienced Director of Critical Care Services to lead clinical operations in a Level I Trauma Center. This role focuses on advancing quality and patient safety, strengthening multidisciplinary collaboration, staff development, and operational excellence to ensure evidence-based care for critically ill and injured patients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required; Master of Science in Nursing preferred if BSN holder.
• Minimum 3–5 years of progressively responsible hospital nursing leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and articulate a strategic vision for departments aligned with system and nursing mission.
• Manage budgets and drive cost savings, efficiencies in healthcare operations.
• Recruit, retain and mentor strong clinicians and unit leaders; build physician relationships.
• Lead quality, safety, and patient satisfaction initiatives and achievement plans.
• Drive process improvement and continuous quality improvement across operations.
