Job summary

Mercy St. Louis Hospital is seeking an experienced Executive Director of Surgical Services to provide leadership over surgical operations in a Level I Trauma and Burn Center.

You will drive high-quality, efficient, patient-centered services with fiscal responsibility and strategic collaboration with physician leaders and hospital executives. The role requires partnership with caregivers and surgeons to optimize performance, quality and patient outcomes, while managing capital and supply budgets

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in the Perioperative space
• Experience with budgeting and financial oversight
• Strong communication with physicians and hospital leadership

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with caregivers, physicians, and leadership across departments
• Collaborate with management to meet departmental goals and priorities
• Lead inventory, equipment, and product-line transitions with surgeons
• Oversee policy/ procedures aligned with regulatory standards
