Job summary

Forbes Advisor is seeking a Director of Creative Production to lead the production+post production engine powering paid social and native creative across Health, FinServ, Insurance, Home & SMB. You will own the in-house Editor/Designer team and the Producer, DP/Shooter, and Crew roster that moves briefs to launch at performance marketing pace.

The role reports to the VP Creative and partners with three Creative Directors to set vertical creative direction.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in direct-response or paid social creative production.
• 3+ years managing a production team.
• Experience hiring, developing, and retaining Editor/Designers (combined role).
• Experience managing both full-time teams and contract/freelance rosters.
• Strong on-set craft; ability to run shoots and manage time/budget.
• AI-augmented production fluency; regular use of AI tools in ideation, post, and operations.
• Ability to drive high-volume shoots across multiple formats (UGC, studio, location, AI).
• Excellent collaboration with Creative, Buying, Finance, Legal, and partners.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end production for paid social and native creative across four verticals.
• Hire, develop, and retain a senior Editor/Designer and post staff.
• Source, vet, onboard, and manage a flexible contract roster of Producers, Shooters, and Crew in the US.
• Source and manage freelance casting directors and a library of remote UGC creators.
• Own shoot operations end-to-end: pre-production, casting, locations, production, and post.
• Own post-production workflows, asset libraries, and handoffs to launch.
• Manage AI-augmented tooling and templates for production workflows.
• Manage shoot budgets and contractor billing; forecast production spend with Finance.
• Collaborate with Creative Directors to translate briefs into executable plans.
• Set and audit quality standards across all output modes; travel to shoots as needed.
