Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Director of Cost Management to lead a team of Cost Managers and oversee cost management services for large-scale construction programs.

The role focuses on driving commercial performance, managing client relationships, and delivering strategic leadership across projects. A strong track record in cost management and leadership within a consulting environment is required.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Cost Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or related field.
• 12+ years of cost management, quantity surveying, or commercial management experience.
• 2+ years leading cost management teams within a consulting environment.
• Demonstrated people leadership experience.
• Proven success delivering cost management services on complex construction projects.
• Strong business development and client relationship management skills.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, cost controls, change management, procurement support, and financial reporting.
• Strong presentation, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Cost Managers and oversee cost management delivery for large programs.
• Drive commercial and financial performance and manage client relationships.
• Provide strategic leadership to project teams and ensure quality delivery.
• Lead research on market conditions and industry trends and produce insights.
• Coordinate cost planning, forecasting, and controls across multiple commissions.
• Support procurement strategies, bid evaluations, and value engineering.
