Job summary

Public Storage seeks a Director, Corporate Technology Operations & Strategic Programs to lead daily operations of core technology systems and drive strategic programs across Real Estate and Finance Technology.

You will partner with IT, data teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to translate needs into practical system, reporting, and process improvements, balancing 70% operational ownership with 30% strategic transformation.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in business systems, corporate technology, or related fields.
• Experience with cross-functional teams and business users.
• Understanding of REIT workflows and real estate operations.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication for executive updates.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of Corporate Technology systems and related processes across cross-functional teams.
• Support system improvements in finance, acquisitions, development, underwriting, capital projects, and asset management.
• Own issue intake, prioritization, and coordination with IT, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Translate issues into clear requirements, testing plans, and project actions with visibility of open items.
• Coordinate with vendors, data teams, security, finance, and operations on performance and releases.
• Support pilots, business cases, rollout plans, and adoption of new tools and automation.
• Prepare executive-ready status updates, risk summaries, and roadmaps.
