Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or education related to the field is required; experience may substitute for education.
• Seven or more years of experience in education or a related sector are expected.
• Demonstrated success in managing grant-funded programs or contracts, departmental budgets, and diverse teams.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills are required.
• Knowledge of employer engagement strategies and OSHA standards is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership and strategic direction for all programs within Corporate and Public Safety.
• Develop and manage departmental budgets, including grants and allocations.
• Lead recruitment, supervision, and professional development of staff.
• Build partnerships with employers, community organizations, and government agencies.
• Lead grant applications, contracts, and partnership agreements.
• Represent the department in governance, public forums, and external advisory bodies.
