Job summary

Armada is seeking a builder-minded Director, Corporate Controller to lead the global accounting function and elevate it to public-company standards. You will design the controllership strategy, own close and policy, and drive IPO readiness while maintaining hands-on involvement with complex technical questions.

This role oversees multi-entity, multi-currency accounting, partners with FP&A, Treasury, Legal, and executives, and guides a growing team to build scalable processes and a robust control

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 5+ years leading an accounting function.
• Active CPA license with Big 4 or national-firm public accounting background.
• Experience building multi-layer accounting teams and hiring managers.
• Deep US GAAP judgment, especially ASC 606 for hardware+services contracts.
• Proven track record leading external audits and building SOX-ready controls.
• Multi-entity, multi-currency consolidation across international subsidiaries.
• Executive presence and ability to explain complex accounting to executives, the board, auditors, and investors.

Responsibilities

• Own global month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close with a 7–10 business day cadence.
• Deliver accurate US GAAP financial statements for multi-entity and international subsidiaries.
• Own the accounting content of board, investor, and lender reporting, and ensure debt covenant compliance.
