Scribd, Inc. is seeking a Director of Content Intelligence & Supply to own the UGC corpus and grow it as a strategic asset.

This new role unifies content understanding (classification, metadata, quality) with supply initiatives under one portfolio, reporting to the Chief Product Officer. You will lead senior PMs, partner with ML/data science teams, and align corpus decisions with business outcomes such as licensing, product quality, and growth.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of product management experience, including 4+ years leading product teams or senior PMs.
• Depth in data-heavy product domains: ML/AI-powered products, search, recommendations, content platforms, or marketplaces.
• Genuine data fluency and ability to direct classification and corpus-analysis work with ML/datascience teams.
• Familiarity with data structures around content for AI training.
• Experience with content acquisition or two-sided product dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Own the content understanding roadmap: classification, enrichment, metadata, and quality across the UGC corpus.
• Grow UGC supply end to end: uploads, conversions, and the supply-side user experience.
• Build the knowledge infrastructure for AI: segmentation, sampling, corpus description, and retrieval capabilities.
• Lead senior product leaders and an established program with its own charter, engineering squads, and analysts.
