Job summary

RSM is seeking a Director of Business Valuation focused on Complex Financial Instruments to join our Valuation Team. You will lead client engagements, manage teams, and develop business in a growth-focused practice.

The role involves advising on valuations of derivatives, complex securities, and related financial modeling, with opportunities across mergers, acquisitions, financing, and tax planning. A global, collaborative environment awaits.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in a Quantitative Field (Math, Financial Mathematics, Quantitative Finance or related area); MBA or other Master's a plus.
• Certifications: ABV, CPA, ASA or CFA.
• Experience valuing complex financial instruments.
• Experience with Option Pricing Models, Monte Carlo and Binomial models.
• Experience in Monte Carlo programs (@risk, Crystal Ball), Lattice models, coding (MatLab, R, etc.), Bloomberg.
• Practice development and management, marketing and thought leadership related to complex financial instruments.
• Experience managing client relationships and leveraging them to sell Firm solutions.
• 8+ years in Management/Leadership/Supervisory experience.
• Database experience with Capital IQ.
