Job summary

RSM is seeking a Valuation Services Manager to lead complex valuation engagements across financial and tax reporting, transactions, and strategic planning. The role emphasizes mentoring staff, expanding client relationships, and contributing to practice growth.

The Manager will collaborate with senior leaders, advance go-to-market initiatives, and balance delivery with talent development and process improvements. Occasional travel will be required to serve clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or related field.
• 6–8+ years of progressive valuation experience in a reputed firm.
• Professional designation (ASA/ABV/CPA/CFA) or substantial progress toward one is preferred.
• Strong MS 365 skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and data analytics aptitude.
• Ability to travel as needed to support client service and practice growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple valuation engagements across financial reporting, tax reporting, transactions and advisory work.
• Develop and coach staff, manage engagement economics, and ensure quality deliverables.
• Strengthen client relationships and contribute to the growth of a national valuation practice.
• Identify opportunities, support proposals, and collaborate across service lines to expand revenue.
