Job summary

Independence Pet Holdings is seeking a Director, Compensation to join our Total Rewards team. Reporting to the Sr.

Director, Total Rewards, you'll help grow the compensation practice, run day-to-day compensation operations, administer incentive plans, and deliver market pricing for a multi-brand organization across North America. The role partners with cross-functional groups, supports the HR leadership, and leads a small team.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Compensation Design, Job Leveling, or Sales Incentive Compensation Design (CCP is a plus).
• Experience in implementing, documenting, refining Total Rewards policies and documentation.
• Workday experience in advanced compensation is required.
• Excellent communications skills
• Strategic mindset, with ability to make difficult decisions
• Can manage both strategic and hands on day to day operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead Sales Compensation Strategy and executive compensation benchmarking.
• Influence senior stakeholders and partner with cross functional teams.
• Oversee offers and day-to-day compensation operations across units.
• Benchmark and structure sales and bonus plans for customer service, insurance processors and other roles.
• Manage a team and mentor compensation growth.
• Support executive compensation and survey submissions.
