Job summary

Radiology Partners is seeking a Director of Compensation to lead the organization’s compensation strategy, governance, and related processes. You will partner with executives and HR teams to ensure competitive, equitable pay and manage job architecture and annual planning.

The role requires extensive experience, leadership skills, and Certification in CCP/SHRM/HRCI. Flexible remote options are available with Nashville, TN as a preference.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive compensation experience.
  • Experience developing or managing compensation strategy, governance, salary structures, annual compensation planning, incentives, job architecture, pay equity, and market pricing.
  • Experience preparing compensation recommendations for senior leaders or executive audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and oversee compensation philosophy, market positioning, program priorities, and long-term strategy.
  • Lead broad-based compensation, salary structures, annual compensation planning, promotion and retention programs, pay equity reviews, and incentive programs.
  • Provide guidance to leaders on compensation decisions, workforce investments, talent risks, affordability, and policy exceptions.
  • Support business growth, acquisitions, integrations, international expansion, and enterprise initiatives as needed.
  • Maintain job architecture standards, including job families, career levels, salary bands, and classifications.
  • Review and approve significant job structure, leveling, and classification changes.
  • Partner with leaders on organization design, workforce planning, and career framework considerations.
  • Oversee annual, sales, physician, executive, recognition, retention, and other variable pay programs.

The Director, Compensation is responsible for leading the organization’s compensation strategy, programs, governance, and related processes. This role ensures compensation programs are competitive, equitable, compliant, financially responsible, and aligned with business objectives. The Director partners with Executive Leadership, Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Finance, Legal, HRIS, and business leaders to provide compensation guidance, support annual planning, maintain job architecture, assess market competitiveness, support pay equity, and lead compensation-related initiatives. This position also leads and develops the compensation team.

DIRECTOR, COMPENSATION - POSITION SUMMARY:
  • Develop and oversee compensation philosophy, market positioning, program priorities, and long-term strategy.
  • Lead broad-based compensation, salary structures, annual compensation planning, promotion and retention programs, pay equity reviews, and incentive programs.
  • Provide guidance to leaders on compensation decisions, workforce investments, talent risks, affordability, and policy exceptions.
  • Support business growth, acquisitions, integrations, international expansion, and enterprise initiatives as needed.
  • Maintain job architecture standards, including job families, career levels, salary bands, and classifications.
  • Review and approve significant job structure, leveling, and classification changes.
  • Partner with leaders on organization design, workforce planning, and career framework considerations.
  • Oversee annual, sales, physician, executive, recognition, retention, and other variable pay programs.
  • Review and approve material plan designs, funding recommendations, payouts, and program changes.
  • Ensure incentive programs are aligned with business goals, compliant, measurable, and financially responsible.
DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive compensation experience, including experience with enterprise compensation programs.
  • Experience developing or managing compensation strategy, governance, salary structures, annual compensation planning, incentives, job architecture, pay equity, and market pricing.
  • Experience preparing compensation recommendations for senior leaders or executive audiences.
  • Minimum of 5 years of people leadership experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Data Analytics, or related field required.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Healthcare, physician services, international, or acquisition integration experience.
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), SHRM, HRCI, or related certification

COMPENSATION:

The salary range for this position is $150,000-$170,000. Final determinations may vary based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, geographic location etc. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to this range, Radiology Partners offers competitive total rewards packages, which include health & wellness coverage options, 401k benefits, and a broad range of other benefits such as family planning and telehealth (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
