Job summary

Partnership with Children seeks a skilled leader to oversee teams of staff across multiple NYC community schools. The role drives supervision, program fidelity, and collaboration with principals, families and district staff to support social-emotional and academic outcomes.

You will guide crisis responses, develop annual plans, and ensure high-quality data collection and reporting while advancing DEI initiatives in a high-autonomy, high-accountability environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated understanding of high-need communities and schools.
• Commitment to the organization’s values: Collaboration, Learning, Equity, Inclusion, and Passion.
• Licensed as LCSW in NYS with SIFI certification.
• Extensive experience supervising social workers.
• Strong knowledge of school as a setting for social work practice.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Social Work Directors and Community School Directors weekly.
• Develop staff leadership, conflict resolution, and data-informed decisions.
• Guide crisis responses for children and youth.
• Build relationships with principals, staff and NYC stakeholders.
• Ensure fidelity to the Community School model and school culture integration.
• Lead annual work plans, monitor milestones, and maintain fiscal accountability.
• Maintain administrative records and data quality.
• Monitor program quality using data, engage in DEI initiatives.
