Kaiser Permanente Bernard J. Tyson School of Medicine (KPSOM) seeks a Director of Community Medicine to provide strategic, academic and programmatic leadership for community-based clinical education.

You will build partnerships with community organizations, manage site readiness, and ensure high-quality student placements aligned with accreditation standards. The role leads integration of community-based learning across the curriculum, supports faculty recruitment and development, and uses data

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years experience in clinical education operations, medical education, or healthcare administration.
• Minimum three (3) years leadership experience.
• MD required from an accredited institution.

Responsabilités

• Develop and sustain strategic partnerships with community organizations and clinical training sites.
• Lead integration of community-based learning across the curriculum.
• Provide academic leadership for recruitment, development and support of community-based faculty and preceptors.
• Ensure student learning experiences meet accreditation standards and educational objectives.
• Oversee clinical education program operations, including rotations and scheduling.
