Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Corrections, Criminal Justice, Sociology, Social Work, Public Administration or related field.
• Five (5) years of experience in a probation department setting with supervision of professional staff.
• Valid MN Driver’s License and ability to meet state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develops goals and objectives for the department and implements policy changes.
• Oversees department budget, staff guidance, and workload management.
• Develops standards and procedures in line with statutes and guidelines.
• Contracts with community service providers and negotiates payment rates.
• Represents coordination with other agencies and boards on corrections planning.
