Job summary

BayCare Health System in Clearwater, FL is seeking a Director of Community Benefit to provide strategic leadership for initiatives that advance health equity and improve community health outcomes.

You will oversee planning, development, implementation, evaluation, and reporting of Community Benefit programs, lead staff, collaborate with stakeholders, and guide committees while ensuring regulatory compliance and measurable impact.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Nursing, Healthcare Management, Public Health or related field.
• 8+ years in Community Benefit or public health programs and 5+ years in management.
• Certified Public Health (CPH) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for BayCare’s Community Benefit program and health equity initiatives.
• Lead Community Benefit staff and collaborate with stakeholders on assessments and reporting.
• Guide systemwide strategies on social determinants of health and community engagement.
• Oversee operational health programs and outreach activities, including mobile units and events.
