Job summary

Greater Cleveland Food Bank’s Director, Community Resource Center, leads the CRC’s programs, services, and daily operations at W. 98th Street, ensuring a welcoming, high-performing hub that expands access to healthy food with dignity and equity.

The role oversees the Community Access and Market Services teams, partners, and volunteers, collaborates with other departments to align operations with strategy, and measures impact through data and feedback.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social services, nonprofit management, public administration, business, or related field.
• Five+ years of experience in program or operations management within a social-service or nonprofit environment.
• Strong supervisory experience and ability to lead diverse teams.
• Bilingual or multilingual skills strongly preferred.
• Serve Safe Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Commitment to increasing access to food bank and wraparound services for neighbors disproportionately impacted by poverty and hunger.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day operational oversight for the CRC, ensuring smooth workflows and a welcoming environment for neighbors.
• Champion support for neighbors seeking services from the Food Bank and external partners.
• Supervise and support the Community Access Team and Market Services Team.
• Oversee market-style food distribution operations, inventory flow, food safety, and equitable access to nutritious food.
• Coordinate onsite partner schedules and space use, maintaining collaborative relationships.
• Support volunteer experience and CRC operating budget management.
• Ensure compliance with Feeding America, USDA, ODJFS, and funder requirements.
