Job summary

Community Food Banks in Tucson is seeking a Director of Resource Centers to provide strategic and operational leadership across Nogales, Green Valley, Amado, and Gabrielle Giffords centers.

You will oversee food distribution, staff development, partnerships with community organizations, and program alignment with organizational priorities. The role emphasizes data-informed decision making, safety, and compliant operations across all sites.

Qualifications

• Seven (7) years of experience overseeing program or operational functions in a nonprofit or community-based organization.
• Three (3) years of staff management and supervisory experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Social Sciences, Public Administration, Community Health, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Bilingual English/Spanish.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint).
• Valid Arizona Driver’s License with a clean driving record; ability to travel to CFB locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead Resource Center operations across Nogales, Green Valley, Amado, and Gabrielle Giffords centers.
• Supervise and support Resource Center managers and staff; foster accountability and development.
• Build and maintain partnerships with community organizations and service providers to strengthen coordination of services.
• Oversee budgets and resource planning; ensure compliance with reporting requirements and organizational standards.
• Drive data-informed decisions and cross-department collaboration to improve access to food and resources.
