Job summary

Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona seeks a Director of Resource Centers to provide strategic and operational leadership for four Resource Centers in Tucson and surrounding communities. You will oversee site operations, food distribution, staff leadership, and cross-department collaboration to respond to community needs.

The role focuses on developing SOPs, expanding services, and maintaining strong partnerships with local organizations.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for Resource Centers across Nogales, Green Valley, Amado, and Gabrielle Giffords.
• Ensure consistent, safe, and effective food distribution and service delivery across sites.
• Monitor operational performance and implement improvements that strengthen efficiency and community impact.
• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that support consistent operations across Resource Centers.
• Oversee Resource Center expansion, operational consistency, and service model implementation across locations.
• Supervise and support Resource Center managers and site staff; foster a values-driven workplace culture.
• Provide coaching and leadership development for effective site management.
• Build leadership capacity through delegation, mentorship, and performance accountability.
• Assess community needs through engagement with neighbors, partners, and local stakeholders.
• Build and maintain relationships with community organizations to strengthen coordination of services.
• Align partnerships, referrals, and outreach with organizational services.
• Identify service gaps and provide recommendations to improve access to food and resources.
• Oversee SNAP benefits outreach and coordination of related services as needed.
• Provide leadership for community and business engagement to expand support for our mission.
• Cultivate relationships with local businesses and civic groups to increase awareness, volunteers, and philanthropy.
• Coordinate with Community Engagement for events and outreach opportunities; represent CFB in networks.
• Collaborate across departments to support coordinated, efficient service delivery across the organization.
• Ensure operations comply with policies and standards including DES/OSHA/Feeding America.
• Oversee data collection and reporting for Resource Center operations and performance trends.
• Perform other duties to support Resource Center operations and mission.
