Job summary

Aegon in the United States seeks an experienced leader to own and optimize the agent commission system for life and annuity products. You will guide multifunctional operations teams, drive strategic initiatives, and partner with senior leadership to enhance service quality and risk management.

You will mentor senior managers, build a culture of excellence, and ensure performance against KPI’s while leveraging data to improve customer and agent experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent experience.
• 10 years of experience in an operations environment, preferably in insurance/financial services.
• Five years of management experience.
• Leadership and KPI-driven performance.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the operational strategy for the organization.
• Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure smooth functioning and timely delivery of services.
• Manage operational budgets and resources, ensuring optimal allocation of funds.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing operational team.
• Accountable for team results.
• Identify and implement opportunities for improvement throughout Operations and provide proposals to executive leadership.
• Assist, facilitate and lead committees, teams and projects.
• Promote teamwork and best practices across Operations.
