Here's a Summary Of Responsibilities
The USOPC is looking for a strategic commercial product leader to unlock andsupportthedelivery of thecommercial and brand valueof key commercial programson the road to the most important decade of Olympic & Paralympic Sport inthe U.S.
The Director,Commercial Integration &Impactis responsible for integrating commercial product delivery strategies, coordinating partnership activation efforts, and demonstrating value delivery to key stakeholders across the Olympic and Paralympic Movement. In this role,you will connect the dots across a complex commercial landscape while also identifying areas to create new value and drive continued improvement within the commercial cycle.The Directorwill overseethe Centerof Excellence responsible for developing and delivering customized impact stories to multiple partner organizations,supportinginternal and external strategic stakeholder relationships, and providing services to commercial product program owners that optimize value creation and efficiency to scale operations.
This position will work closely with the Director, StrategicVenturesto ensure a smooth transition frompackaging and sell-into execution, ensuring expectations are met or exceeded, value is delivered, and feedback is incorporated throughout the program activation based on what was originally soldintothe partner.

Product Integration & Value Delivery
- Develop shared roadmaps fortheoverall direction of integrated campaigns and commercialproducts. Build presentations that explain the value proposition and identify stakeholder opportunities to socialize concepts and gain alignment to activate.
- Lead the consolidation of programs, campaign performance reporting, and value delivery summaries to demonstrate overall and individual impact to stakeholders(i.e.,sponsors, IPC, IOC, NBC, colleges, NGBs, Team USA athletes, etc.). Develop and deliver value impact updates, such asindividual stakeholderprogress reports, KPI dashboards, program recaps, and business reviews during key moments(i.e.,partners summit, NGB best practices, and/or other appropriate forums).
- In partnership with sell-in and execution teams, manage commercial program budgeting and financial forecasting. Establish overall budget parameters for delivery internally and with partners. Ensure alignment with overall objectives and available resources. Manage fulfillment of budget with third parties (i.e.,vendors, USOPP, etc.).
Strategic Partnerships
- Build and maintain strong relationships and governance structures with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry collaborators. Facilitateissueescalation and troubleshooting to maintain high levels of alignment, customer satisfaction, and engagement.
- Manage contracts, facilitate rights acquisition, and ensure compliance with deal terms forthird parties, including partners, NGBs, and other key stakeholders. Coordinate contract development, execution,andpayments withLegalandFinanceto ensure compliance with USOPC guidelines. Develop guidelines and ensure enforcement ofagreed-uponstandards.
- Identify partnership opportunities to bolster commercial programs, lead co-creation workshops to align interests, and manage stakeholder working groups that inspire collective action.
- Foster key relationships tooptimize commercial opportunities and ensure partner satisfaction. Provide onboarding and education to new stakeholders and partners to ensuretheirunderstandingoftheoverall landscape and expectations fortheircontribution.
Program Management
- Create and manage cross-functional and cross-organizational teams by providing collaboration processes and infrastructure that ensures thealignment and execution of commercial strategies. Develop and deliver shared tools, templates, and timelines to manage planning,go-to-market, and execution activities across all commercial products and stakeholder value delivery.
- Align key external stakeholders (USOPP, NGBs, NCAA, etc.) and internal functions (Marketing, Communications, Sport & Athlete Services, Finance, Legal, etc.) to ensure all agreed-upon programs are executed effectively. Drive documentation of deliverable commitments, and ensure assets required by third parties are delivered in scope and on time as promised.
- Manage ongoing feedback and continuous improvement mechanisms to share best practices and scale innovation.Identify areas of opportunity and efficiency to inform improvements in value creation and integration.
People Leadership & Skills Development
- Identifytheannual and quad key priorities and create consensus across stakeholders, then aid in narrowing the focus to drive action along an identified roadmap.
- Lead the team, including hiring, mentoring, coaching, and motivating to maximize collective performance. Contribute to an atmosphere for outstanding teamwork through clear expectations, frequent communication, and providing fair and consistent feedback. Manage the performance of team members effectively.
- Ensure teams flourish by pairing teammates’ competencies to resource needs and tapping into specialty skills and knowledge to deliver strategic and sustainable results.
- Build and manage effective teams by balancing expectations and configuring available resources to meet demands.
- Develop long-range staffing and project plans to accommodate effective and efficient delivery against expectations.

Here are the skills and experience you'll need to be effective:
- Bachelor’sdegree in Business, Marketing, Sport Management,or a related fieldor equivalent work experience
- 8-10 years of experience inrevenueproject management, commercial development, business operations, or a related field
- Experience with driving revenue growth and managing large-scale commercial projects
- Demonstrated leadership experience
- Proven ability to manageand prioritizea large variety of complex issues and projects calmly and simultaneously
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and partners
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets
- Strong customer service skills
- Capability to distill information clearly and to explain complex issues with precision and consistency
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to think independently and make decisions
- Passion for sport and theideals of theOlympicandParalympic Movements

Here's Some More Information You Need To Know
- Hiring pay range: $112,550- $142,939 per year
- This Full-Time, Exempt position is intended to work 40 hours per week.
- Bonus: This position will be eligible for the Annual Incentive Award Program, which has a 15% target. The USOPC may change or eliminate this program at any time at its sole discretion.
