Beam Therapeutics Inc. is seeking a Director of FP&A (Clinical) to lead planning, partner with the Commercial organization, and drive accurate revenue projections while collaborating with the accounting team on month‑end close.

The role oversees budgeting, long‑range planning, and rolling forecast for BEAM‑302/BEAM‑301 programs, acting as a strategic finance partner to Clinical and Medical Affairs. The ideal candidate has 8+ years in biotech FP&A, US GAAP knowledge, advanced Excel, Adaptive

Formación

• 8+ years FP&A experience in biotech preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting or equivalent.
• Financial statement knowledge and understanding of US GAAP.
• Strong team player with a customer service approach and solution orientation.
• Ability to meet deadlines while delivering multiple deliverables.
• Comfort using AI tools in work processes.
• Proficient with Excel, Adaptive Insights, and ERP systems (NetSuite or SAP).

Responsabilidades

• FP&A business partner to the Clinical and Medical Affairs organizations, and BEAM‑302 and BEAM‑301 programs.
• Oversee planning cycle activities and review plan data for partner functions and programs.
• Conduct monthly budget vs. actual analyses for partner functions and programs, and finance/management results.
• Track risks and opportunities to the annual budget and update rolling forecast.
• Assist in overall budget, LRP, and forecast processes outside partnership duties.
• Partner with Sourcing on contract and change order reviews for significant Clinical Trial Agreements.
• Attend monthly Clinical accrual meetings to ensure expense accuracy and SOX compliance.
• Attend quarterly milestone meetings to ensure accuracy of expense and future projections in forecast.
• Special projects as required.
