Job summary

REGENXBIO seeks a Director of Commercial Data, Advanced Analytics & Forecasting to build and lead data, analytics, and forecasting for launch readiness and commercial decisions. You will translate brand strategy into analytics frameworks, develop patient-based forecasts, and deliver decision-ready insights for senior leadership.

The role covers market sizing, segmentation, payer access, and launch performance, with ownership of long-range forecasts and AI-driven analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, or a related quantitative discipline; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in commercial analytics, data science, forecasting, BI, or related function within pharma/biotech/healthcare.
• Direct experience supporting at least one U.S. product launch.
• Advanced SQL proficiency with complex data extraction, joins, and validation.
• Hands-on experience with Python, R, SAS, or Alteryx; strong Excel and BI tool skills.
• Experience building predictive models, customer/account segmentation, forecasting.
• Experience with healthcare datasets (HCP, payer, claims, CRM, etc.).
• Ability to translate Brand strategy into analytics questions and actions.

Responsibilities

• Design measurement frameworks linking market development to business outcomes.
• Build analyses and forecasting models to identify signals and actions.
• Lead analytics across market sizing, segmentation, and launch performance.
• Translate findings into clear recommendations for executives and teams.
• Own demand, launch, and long-range forecasts with key drivers.
• Develop scenarios (base, upside, downside, access).
• Monitor performance vs. assumptions and governance of data sources.
