BioMerieux Inc. seeks a Reimbursement Coding and Strategy Director to lead U.S. coding strategies for new and existing in vitro diagnostic products.

This role partners with Market Access, Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, and global teams to define evidence and documentation requirements and drive lifecycle planning. The position translates complex coding requirements into actionable recommendations and serves as the subject-matter expert on diagnostic coding, monitoring changes affecting

Qualifications

• 7+ years of healthcare experience in clinical laboratory, pharmaceutical, and/or biotechnology industries.
• 3+ years of Medicare Policy experience with the U.S. healthcare policy and market access landscape.
• Bachelor's degree in Health Policy, Political Science, Life Sciences, Law, Public Health, Economics, or Business; advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of U.S. coding strategies for pipeline, launch, and on-market diagnostic products.
• Assess CPT, PLA, HCPCS, ICD-10 considerations and recommend the best pathway for use, site of service, and reimbursement.
• Identify coding gaps and translate findings into actionable governance recommendations.
• Develop long-range coding roadmaps with milestones, evidence needs, and submission timing.
• Adjust coding strategies for existing products in response to changes and barriers.
• Coordinate preparation of coding applications and supporting materials with cross-functional teams.
