Job summary

Centivo is seeking a Director of CMAS to own strategy, performance, and regulatory compliance for plan documents (SPDs, SMMs, SBCs) and NSA functions. You will manage the Plan Documents Manager and CMAS Manager, ensuring accuracy and audit-readiness across clients and plan types.

You will translate strategy into executable plans, lead a high-performing team, and serve as the operational authority with clients, brokers, TPAs, and stop loss carriers, while driving KPI and process improvements

Qualifications

• 7+ years in employee benefits compliance and plan document administration
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing managers or teams
• Deep knowledge of ERISA, IRC, HIPAA, MSP, COBRA, ACA, WHCRA
• Experience drafting/managing SBCs, SPDs, SMMs in self-funded/TPA environments
• Experience overseeing claims audit, NSA, subrogation, or quality assurance in regulated environments
• Bachelor's degree; paralegal or advanced degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Own strategy, quality, and regulatory compliance of plan documents (SPDs, SMMs, SBCs) and related amendments
• Ensure ERISA/IRC/HIPAA/MSP/COBRA/ACA/WHCRA compliance across plan documents
• Establish governance, workflows, and QA checkpoints for accuracy and audit-readiness
• Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Configuration, and Client Success to translate client needs
• Serve as escalation point for complex plan document issues and plan design questions
• Lead continuous improvement and AI-enabled enhancements across CMAS and Plan Document workflows
• Direct workforce planning and cross-functional collaboration to balance cost and service performance
• Model Centivo leadership behaviors and drive accountability across teams
