Job summary

Centivo is seeking a Director of Claims Management Ancillary Services (CMAS) to own strategy, performance, and compliance for plan documents and related claims processes. You will manage the Plan Documents Manager and CMAS Manager and serve as the operational authority for CMAS with clients, brokers, TPAs, and carriers.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in employee benefits compliance or related field.
• 5+ years of leadership managing managers or teams.
• Deep knowledge of ERISA, IRC, HIPAA, MSP, COBRA, ACA, WHCRA.
• Experience drafting SBCs, SPDs, SMMs in a self-funded/TPA environment.
• Bachelor's degree required; paralegal cert or advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own strategy, quality, and regulatory compliance of plan document function (SPDs, SMMs, SBCs, amendments).
• Ensure documents stay current with ERISA, IRC, HIPAA, MSP, COBRA, ACA, WHCRA.
• Establish governance standards, workflows, and QA checkpoints for audit-ready outputs.
• Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Configuration, Client Success to translate client updates.
• Escalate complex plan document issues and client design questions.
• Champion adoption of plan document tools and AI-enhancements to improve accuracy.
