Job summary

Smile Digital Health is seeking a Director to lead Cloud & Managed Services, driving strategy, delivery, and operational excellence for the cloud platform, automation, and deployment capabilities to support cloud-native growth across Managed Services, SaaS, and customer environments.

You will partner with Engineering, Product, Security, and Customer Success to drive reliability, automation, and customer satisfaction while establishing governance, IaC practices, and secure-by-design cloud

Qualifications

• 7+ years in senior cloud operations leadership in IT/healthcare tech.
• 5+ years ITSM, networking, cloud, security experience.
• 3+ years with Cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Business Admin or equivalent.
• Experience growing and scaling Cloud operations with strong customer focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead a strategic Cloud and Managed Services team to enable growth.
• Define and implement IT program management frameworks for managed services.
• Develop client relationships to understand needs and goals.
• Define and execute the deployment automation and platform engineering roadmap.
• Lead Deployment Automation Engineering for pipelines and tooling.
• Establish IaC, CI/CD, configuration management, release automation.
• Ensure SaaS platform high availability and reliability.
• Drive security-by-design, regulatory alignment.
• Drive standardization across deployment models.
• Collaborate on marketing, pricing, and contracts as needed.
• Governance structures through steering committees.
