Job summary

Smile Digital Health seeks a Director, Cloud & Managed Services to lead cloud operations, platform engineering, and deployment automation. You will partner with Engineering, Product, Security and Customer Success to drive reliability, automation, and customer satisfaction.

You will build scalable teams, establish IT program management and governance, and ensure security-by-design across SaaS and customer environments while advancing the company’s cloud strategy.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in a senior cloud operations leadership role within IT/healthcare tech.
• 5+ years ITSM, networking, security, and enterprise support.
• 3+ years with Cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration or related field.
• Significant experience leading and developing leaders in software/ platform/DevOps teams.
• Proven ability to scale cloud operations with a strong customer focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead a strategic Cloud and Managed Services team to enable growth.
• Define and implement IT program management frameworks for managed services.
• Develop client relationships to understand business needs.
• Define roadmap for deployment automation and platform engineering.
• Lead Deployment Automation Engineering for tooling and pipelines.
• Ensure security-by-design and regulatory compliance.
• Drive automation to standardize deployments across models.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Legal, and IT procurement as needed.
• Oversee governance structures and steering committees.
• Maintain high availability and reliability of SaaS platform.
