Fidelity Investments Inc. is seeking a Director of Software Engineering for the Authorization domain within Brokerage Recordkeeping Technology.

You will lead cloud-native modernization, ensuring 24x7 availability and security across mission-critical systems, with global teams and agile collaboration. You will drive architectural decisions, governance, and a culture of technical excellence while partnering with product, security, and infrastructure groups to deliver scalable authorization

Formación

• 12+ years in software and cloud infrastructure engineering with various platforms.
• Experience managing Tier 0 platforms and 24x7 operation.
• Experience balancing pace over perfection with business priorities.
• Proven AWS cloud experience architecting production-grade cloud-native systems; hands-on Java/Micronaut.
• Experience directing teams in Agile/Scrum.
• Experience migrating mainframe to cloud-native, scalable architectures.
• Knowledge of RBAC, ReBAC, JWT-based auth, OAuth 2.0; OpenFGA exposure a plus.
• Champion engineering excellence with scalability, compliance, fault tolerance.
• Collaborate across product, infrastructure, security; drive integrated solutions.
• Foster culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement among global teams.
• Architectural influence to improve security posture and scalability.
• Experience leveraging AI-assisted tools to improve productivity; retail financial markets experience a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Influence backlog and prioritization for BRT Application Solutions Engineering.
• Deliver cloud-native, scalable authorization solutions to BRT development teams.
• Develop a point of view on new and emerging trends to advance solutions that improve efficiency and time to market.
• Organize and drive the work for your team to deliver value to technical and business partners.
• Actively share insights and industry practices across the organization.
