Job summary

Raymond James Financial, Inc. seeks a Director to lead MERLIN, the firm's cloud data lake for regulatory oversight and analytics. You will define the technology vision, architecture, and roadmap, guiding platform engineering, data engineering, and BI efforts to deliver secure, scalable data capabilities.

You will manage multiple engineering teams, ensure governance and security, and partner with Compliance, Risk, and Operations to align technology with business strategy.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in data engineering, analytics engineering, BI, or enterprise data platforms.
• 5+ years in technology leadership managing engineering teams.
• Deep understanding of data architecture, warehousing, ETL/ELT, and governance.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for MERLIN, the cloud data lake for RJ Oversight.
• Lead platform engineering, data engineering, BI, and cloud modernization teams.
• Ensure security, governance, compliance, and operational excellence across the platform.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Security, Risk, and business stakeholders to deliver VM-level outcomes.
