Job summary

Raymond James Financial, Inc. is seeking a Data & Cloud Engineer to build and support data pipelines and cloud infrastructure powering reporting, analytics, applications, and AI capabilities.

You will own platform administration, access provisioning, and governance across Snowflake and AWS, collaborating with Data Engineering, AI, Information Security, and Infrastructure teams. The role requires hands-on experience with ETL/ELT pipelines, Snowflake, and AWS, plus strong SQL, Python, and

Qualifications

• Five or more years in data engineering, cloud engineering, or platform engineering.
• Hands-on with production ETL/ELT pipelines, Snowflake, and AWS resources.
• Ability to design, implement, and optimize data models, pipelines, and governance.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Develop and optimize SQL and data models in Snowflake for performance and quality.
• Create Python-based automation and serverless workflows on AWS (Lambda) for ingestion and orchestration.
• Use Terraform or CloudFormation to provision cloud resources consistently.
• Manage Snowflake roles, warehouses, monitoring, and cost controls.
