JOB SUMMARY

TheDirector of Clinical Training & Workforce Developmentprovides strategic and operational leadership for clinic training, onboarding, workforce development, scheduling, and staffing. The Director ensures consistent employee training, competency, staffing coverage, and operational readiness across all clinic locations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Front Desk Training:1 Supervisor + 2 Trainers — oversees front desk training, onboarding, competency, and development.
• Clinical Training:1 Supervisor + 1 Trainer — oversees Medical Assistant and clinical staff training, onboarding, competency, and development.
• Clinical Schedules & Coverage:1 Supervisor + 1 Clinic Coordinator — oversees staffing schedules, clinic coverage, float pools, call-outs, PTO, vacancies, and other staffing needs.
• The Director is responsible for developing and maintaining standardized training programs, ensuring workforce coverage, supporting employee retention and development, and partnering withClinical Operations and Human Resourcesto meet organizational and operational goals.
• Lead and develop thethree Supervisorsand their respective teams.
• Oversee standardized training, onboarding, competency, and professional development programs.
• Ensure appropriate clinical staffing, scheduling, and coverage across locations.
• Identify workforce and training gaps and implement solutions.
• Establish performance expectations and monitor KPIs related to training, staffing, retention, competency, and customer service.
• Partner with Clinical Operations and Human Resources on recruitment, onboarding, retention, workforce planning, and employee development.
• Promote consistent patient/customer service standards and operational excellence.
• Provide leadership reporting and recommendations regarding workforce and training performance.
• Success will be measured bytraining and competency completion, employee retention, staffing coverage, schedule effectiveness, employee readiness, supervisor/trainer performance, customer service, and overall performance of the three operational funnels.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum5 years of experience in a related medical/healthcare field.
• Leadership experience in training, clinical operations, workforce development, or staffing.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• Strong communication, organization, coaching, and collaboration skills.
