Job summary

The American Heart Association seeks a Director, Strategic Clinical Research & Industry to lead industry-sponsored research and evidence-generation initiatives within the QORA department. You will partner with pharma/biotech/medical device groups and coordinate cross-functional teams to translate partnerships into high-impact programs that advance cardiovascular and brain health.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in public health, health sciences, healthcare administration, clinical research, nursing, life sciences, business, or related field.
• 8 years of progressively responsible experience in clinical research, healthcare program management, life sciences, healthcare consulting, quality improvement, or related fields.
• Experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder projects or programs.
• Experience with pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, digital health, or healthcare industry organizations.

Responsibilities

• Lead industry-sponsored clinical research, quality improvement, registry-based and evidence-generation initiatives from start to finish.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and manage timelines, budgets, risks, and communications.
• Develop executive summaries, dashboards, and stakeholder updates on program progress and impact.
• Ensure alignment with study protocols, sponsor objectives, and organizational priorities.
