Job summary

Sinai Hospital in Baltimore seeks an experienced Pharmacy Services leader to supervise the clinical activities of the Pharmacy Department, coordinate daily Pharmacist schedules, and deliver clinical patient care including dosing, drug interactions, and counseling.

The role collaborates with hospital leadership to manage medication budgets, develop QA/QI programs, provide staff education, and implement best-practice protocols to ensure safe, cost-effective care.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist license required (Maryland).
• 5–7 years of relevant experience.
• PharmB, MScPhm or PharmD is required.
• Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist.
• Proven leadership and supervisory capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates clinical activities of the Pharmacy Department.
• Coordinates the daily work schedule of Clinical Pharmacists.
• Provides pharmaceutical patient care including dosing, DUKE's, ADR's and counseling.
• Conducts in-services for medical and nursing staff.
• Develops QA/QI monitoring of Pharmacy clinical activities.
• Assists with budgeting and spend analysis; develops cost-effective care.
• Leads development of clinical service plans interfacing with system goals.
