Job summary

Memorial Health is seeking a Director of Clinical Operations to drive operational, strategic, and financial performance across ambulatory and hospital services in Illinois. You will sit on inpatient and ambulatory leadership teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care and lead initiatives expanding clinical services and improving access.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field (master's preferred), Illinois license or eligibility, and 7–10

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, public health or related field required. Master’s preferred.
• Valid clinical license in Illinois preferred; Lean Six Sigma or equivalent certification is a plus.
• 7–10 years of progressive healthcare leadership experience; multi-site ambulatory operations experience.
• Strong ability to lead growth, program development and operational improvements across clinics and hospital services.
• Proven skills in change leadership, collaboration, communication, and performance measurement.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational leadership across ambulatory and hospital services within assigned regions.
• Lead strategic planning, growth initiatives, and program development aligned with system priorities.
• Manage budgets, forecasting, expenses, and ROI for programs and projects.
• Engage physicians and advanced practice providers to align clinical and operational goals.
• Drive quality, regulatory compliance, and patient experience initiatives across care settings.
• Travel to different sites as needed to supervise specialty areas.
