Job summary

Advocate Health and Wake Forest University School of Medicine seeks an experienced leader to oversee enterprise clinical trial contracting across our research programs. You will direct contract administration, supervise staff, and drive efficient negotiation and activation of industry-sponsored agreements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Minimum seven years in clinical research or related healthcare environment.
• Minimum three years in leadership or management overseeing staff.

Responsibilities

• Provides operational leadership and oversight for enterprise clinical research contracting activities, ensuring timely negotiation, execution, and administration of clinical research agreements.
• Designs and directs the work of the clinical trial contracts team, including staff development and workload allocation.
• Oversees negotiation, review, execution, and management of CTAs, CDAs, MCTAs, amendments, and related agreements.
• Monitors contract performance metrics, turnaround times, service levels, and workloads; implements strategies to improve efficiency and quality.
• Develops standardized contract templates, workflows, and negotiation strategies to reduce startup timelines.
• Collaborates with investigators, legal, finance, compliance, and operational stakeholders to enable study activation and resolve complex issues.
