Job summary

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree required and NC State Bar membership preferred.
• Minimum three years of transactional legal experience in higher education or clinical research settings.

Responsibilities

• Review, draft, negotiate, and execute confidential disclosure agreements, clinical trial agreements, and related legal documents with non-federal sponsors.
• Triage and resolve issues in contract negotiations with CRP, UNC, and UNC Health leadership under time constraints.
• Contribute to development of contract negotiation playbooks, templates, and other forms.
• Serve as the point of contact for industry sponsors regarding CRP agreements.
• Develop policies and workflows to ensure efficient start-up and administration of clinical trial contracts.
• Collaborate with UNC/UNC Health contracting teams to maintain unified approaches.
