Job summary

BestSelf Behavioral Health seeks a Director of Clinic Services in Buffalo, NY to lead clinical programs, ensure regulatory compliance, and align operations with strategic goals. You will guide program Directors and staff, drive quality, and foster accountability across teams.

This role requires NY licensure, a track record in mental health leadership, and the ability to oversee daily operations while advancing BestSelf's mission to provide high-quality, accessible care to diverse communities.

Qualifications

• Active NY licensure (LCAT/LMFT/LMHC/LCSW) in good standing.
• Minimum 3 years in an NYS Office of Mental Health licensed program.
• At least 2 years in a supervisory role over clinical/admin staff.
• Solid knowledge of mental health and substance use disorders and treatments.
• Experience with Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic programs.
• Skilled in program management and leadership development.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight of designated clinical programs.
• Coach and develop direct reports; drive accountability and high performance.
• Monitor productivity, compliance, and drive quality improvement activities.
• Develop workflows to support quality services and reduce health disparities.
• Ensure programs meet state and federal laws and agency policies.
• Collaborate with program directors to ensure accessible services for clients.
• Build relationships with community partners and BestSelf team members.
