Job summary

MediaKind is seeking a Director of Client Experiences to shape how audiences watch content on mobile, TV, and web across devices. You will translate platform strategy into a client experience roadmap and ensure backend services meet customer needs.

In this hands-on leadership role, you will collaborate with product, engineering, and sales teams to accelerate time-to-market, improve UX, and drive monetization through ads and FAST services.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in streaming/OTT product management
• Hands-on consumer streaming app experience
• Familiar with iOS/Android devices and TV platforms
• Experience with entitlements, rights, or monetization in streaming
• Understanding of adaptive bitrate streaming, HLS/DASH, DRM, low-latency delivery, and SDKs
• Strong communication for tech and business discussions
• Experience mentoring product teams and staying hands-on
• Legal right to work in UK, USA, or Canada (no sponsorship)

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver the client experience roadmap across mobile, living room, web and emerging screens
• Collaborate with Platform Tools to ensure services and APIs support client apps
• Advance live features: low-latency playback, start-over, catch-up, real-time messaging
• Define entitlements for subscriptions, pay-per-view, blackouts and device limits
• Drive discovery and personalization across catalog, search, feeds, and recs
• Grow client monetization with ad-supported and FAST experiences
• Lead the client SDK portfolio for iOS/tvOS, Android, Android TV, Roku, web
• Build the MediaKind demo app showcasing platform capabilities
• Advise top streaming services on modern app architecture and learnings
• Use analytics to decide what to build next and prove impact
• Mentor and grow the client experiences product team
