Astranis is seeking a senior contributor to shape and grow US government civil space opportunities. You will engage with NASA, NOAA, and national laboratories, shaping requirements and communicating positions.

The role involves interaction withAstranis senior leadership, program management, engineering, operations, and legal teams. The ideal candidate has engineering or hard science background, 8+ years of relevant experience, and a track record in space programs, with travel up to 40%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or hard science.
• 8+ years in engineering, program management, corporate strategy, or USG sales/business development.
• Working knowledge of US civil space community and related programs.
• Willingness to travel up to 40% of time.
• Strong motivation to create USG market offerings with clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with civil space customers and partners (NASA, NOAA, labs).
• Support USG sales teams in civil space engagements and opportunities.
• Develop materials for customer interactions and requirement shaping.
• Lead or support proposals and capture activities for USG opportunities.
• Monitor civil space programs, budgets, and industry trends with management.
• Assess competitors and identify partnerships to expand capabilities.
