Job summary

Bluegrass Community & Technical College seeks a Director of Career Services Center to coordinate and implement career-related programs and services. This grant-funded, on-site role reports to the Director of Career Services and Work-based Learning and supervises navigators and staff.

The position emphasizes leadership, collaboration with employers, and delivery of high-impact services to students and graduates within the college's advancement and workforce development context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and one year of experience or equivalent.
• Bachelor's Degree and two years experience or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Oversees career, employment, and work-based learning at BCTC.
• Develops relationships with business and industry partners to promote work-based learning opportunities for students and graduates.
• Directs the development and implementation of high-impact services such as entrepreneurship opportunities in small business development and business mentorship.
• Provides leadership, supervision, and long-term planning for the Career, Employment, and Work-Based Learning area.
• Collaborates with departments to onboard credential-seeking students and facilitate career pathways.
• Supervises Career Navigators to ensure a holistic Career Services experience for students.
