Job summary

Novo Nordisk in Plainsboro, New Jersey, is seeking a Director-Cardiometabolic to lead the Patient Support Solutions program and collaborate across MAPA, Marketing, Market Access, and external partners to maximize patient access and program impact.

The ideal candidate brings 12+ years in healthcare marketing/operations, strong cross-functional leadership, vendor management, budgeting acumen, and deep knowledge of patient support hubs and the pharma landscape.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; MBA preferred.
• 12+ years in marketing/sales/operations in healthcare.
• 5+ years with patient support hubs, specialty pharmacies or healthcare institutions.
• Customer facing experience in cardiometabolic/diabetes/obesity.
• Agency/vendor management experience.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams.
• Strong forecasting, planning and business analysis.
• Solid understanding of pharma regulatory, legal and clinical processes.
• Proficient with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead Cardiometabolic strategy and cross-functional programs for patient support.
• Collaborate with MAPA, Marketing, Sales and Market Access to deliver high-impact program strategies.
• Oversee patient support hubs and SOPs; ensure compliance and budget discipline.
• Manage vendor contracts and performance with procurement and finance.
• Attend key customer meetings and drive program improvements.
• Ensure timely execution and cross-functional alignment.
